Some of the Muppets have made their way to the internet in what appear to be authorized, new videos on their own YouTube accounts. Sam the Eagle hosted a patriotic number a few months ago for the Fourth of July, and he has been joined by Beaker, Swedish Chef, and Gonzo. Not surprisngly, Statler and Waldorf have also gotten an account and are posting various negative replies to popular YouTube videos.
Do you know how hard it is to stop watching Muppet videos once you get started?
I was thrilled to find Beaker doing “Ode to Joy.” In fact, I’m going to watch it again right now.
Oh great. As if I’ve not been watching enough Muppet clips lately do to the Muppet Madness thread (and my daughter’s absolute joy in both Mahna Mahna and the Yip-Yips), I have to find out about this! There have been nights I’ve kept my 3 year old up until close to midnight watching clips of The Muppet Show. Looks like we aren’t going to bed tonight either.
