AH, but trump himself says that what you’re seeing isn’t what’s really happening.
Out of curiosity, whom did you have in mind when asking about conservatives on the board?
I’ve heard that FOX no longer works for them…
I’m kind of outraged-out on this issue (for anyone looking for the conservative response to abhorrent Trump policies, this thread has quite a few and they are quite fucking telling - why yes, one of our moderators is in fact a goddamn sociopathic fuckstick), but I will say that any day that Stephen Miller feels safe, secure, or comfortable is a bad day.
Like, seriously.
At what point is enough enough?
At what point do we, collectively, decide that we’re not going to take this, that we’re not going to wait for someone else to figure it out, for another (broken, fraudulent, obviously corrupt) election to fix things?
At what point do we fuckin’ storm the barricades?
How much human suffering is enough before we decide that enough is enough? Or are we all just going to spend the next few years staring gormlessly at atrocity after atrocity that seemingly nobody cares to do anything about?
Indeed. I was warned in that thread for posting too many times, and for posting things that would make concentration camp supporters feel bad.
Are you talking about deportations, health care or gun control? We haven’t stormed the gates about little kids getting massacred, we seem to be a people who are very willing to support suffering.
I’m a Reagan Republican and (in Aus) a Howard Liberal. Right wing. Liberal, Dry, Conservative. Over here, ‘liberal’ means small government, slightly libertarian in a safe middle class kind of way: it means you want the government to be liberal enough to leave you the hell alone.
Our Right/Conservative, wet, reactionary, populist Australian government has the same deportation polices as Trump, deporting anybody they can find an excuse for.
It makes me sick. Ill. Stressed. Angry. Frightened. Pissed off. Bitter. Disenfranchised.
First they came for the Mexicans. Then they came for the sick and elderly. Next they come for me, and there won’t be anybody else left to protest.
“Well, people die every day”
Regards,
Well, why do you think he wants to buy Greenland?
He’d get all those Danes, and one Scandinavian is as good as another.
I’m saddened at the lack of outrage. People are suffering outrage fatigue. I read about the man being deported to Iraq a week or two ago, and I could hardly summon up outrage. There’s also border camps from minors again. I’m not even American, so I should be bombarded with less outrage than Americans, but the outrage well is dry.
I just hope Trump gets voted out, the Democrats get the Senate, and people actually get punished. But I figure there’s a 50/50 chance of the first happening, and the others are even less likely.
Personally, I’d lean towards Aktion T4, but potato/potahto.
Before Tan the Conman putined (Украл) the highest office in the land, I would’ve said in response to that comment, “Not the same people every day, though”. Now? Those of us who still have a soul or at least an iota of compassion and humanity are dieing every damn day. Sometimes a couple of times in one day depending on what horrid news comes from the orange thumbs.
Faced With Criticism, Trump Administration Reverses Abrupt End to Humanitarian Relief
So you are advocating armed insurrection to “correct” the outcome of the election? I hope you understand that rejecting that notion does not in fact equal condoning whatever you feel needs correcting, or any sub-section thereof. This is a democracy. We change things by voting.
One of these people gets it.
The other does not.
You are as despicable as Trump. I’m glad you don’t live here.
I dunno, a mass public uprising a la Hong Kong or Puerto Rico probably isn’t as bad as literally running concentration camps.
Fuck yourself with a cactus, you perverted piece of shit.
It’s a valid question. If the system itself is being perverted or taken advantage of by people who use it to further goals that are antithetical to the spirit of the system then at what point are you no longer obligated to work within the system?
For every period of fascist or other authoritarian rule there was such a point.
