Ya gotchyer preview reply button. Next to that ya gotchyer submit reply button.
And then yer CLEAR FIELDS button.
What the hell does that do.I can’t see that it does anything. It won’t change from yellow to green.It won’t show me a naked woman. It won’t say come back when you have an inkling of what you’re doing. I’ve been here way too long not to understand this. (Maybe I do and I’m just causing trouble. Yeah,that might be it).

Try this, ageless6:
Click on Reply
Fill in all the fields (username, password, post subject, your reply). The longer your reply, the better.
Now click “Clear Fields”
Tell us again how you don’t see it do anything.
Push it and see what happens.

No, seriously, Clear Fields is what you can use to erase what’s in your Reply Window instead of doing Select All and then Delete. I have always mentally termed it the “ah, f*ck it” button. It erases everything that isn’t bracketed (i.e. code).
Preview. Dang! Must learn to type faster. Bring more coffee.
Do you know, I’d never even noticed the “clear fields” button before? In fact this post is really just an excuse to see it.

Most people find it when they hit it by accident. . . on their way down the page with the cursor to hit “Submit.”

Okay, I tried to clear from preview, which didn’t work. It does work the other way, though.
