I am just getting around to listening and that first clip I link to is excellent power pop. Enough songcraft and power in the groove to stand out but with some fun Go-Go’s harmony work on the chorus so it isn’t too serious.
If the rest of their stuff is like this, I’m interested.
Yeah, I actually just bought tickets for their April show here in Chicago a few weeks ago. I never got around to seeing Sleater-Kinney live (mostly because I wasn’t around the US for most of the time they were active), so this is as close as I’m going to get (barring a reunion.)
