Music for Avenging Knights?

…I was going to say “White” Knights—As in the “Sir Gallahad” sense)—but that it could be misconstrued way too easily. :smack:

Anyway, what’s your favorite “Good knight charging to the rescue” music? It doesn’t have to be actual medieval-style music…it just has to be something that’d make a movie audience want to stand up and cheer for the hero.

Not that it has to be from a film soundtrack, either. Classical or Pop/Rock songs would work just as well.

My picks?

•The “fight music” from Disney’s The Black Hole. A little obscure, but I like it.

•Danny Elfman’s Batman theme.
So…any other takers?

“You Got the Touch” by Stan Bush. Total “here-comes-the-hero-to-save-the-day” song. Kicks ass.

John Williams’ themes from Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman, and much of the music from the original Star Wars trilogy.

Elfman’s Batman theme is a good call.
