Lhasa De Sela - The Living Road
Middle period Flatt and Scruggs. While my favorite period will always be 1945 - ~1959 (as I suspect it is for most fans), this collection has many gems that up until now I had never heard, with the exception of the “Foggy Mountain Banjo” and Carnegie Hall cuts. Not that this should be surprising in any way, what with the incredible musicianship of not only Lester and Earl, but the fine bands that they always had by their side.
