I went to Amazon to look at a streaming movie, and everything is showing in Spanish. How do I switch it back, and should I assume that someone hacked me?

You probably clicked a link to Amazon.com.es, or a link from a Spanish-speaking member whose own link text included a language preference, and it switched.

My wife and I use the same Amazon account and it changes the language to our operating system’s laguage every time we log in all on its own: English in her case (tablet), German in mine (Windows computer). She manages the e-mail account for the amazon account, so she gets a notification “language has been changed” every time I access the Amazon account. I would not rule out having been hacked. Change the password, just in case. If this is not possible, you may have a problem.
I don’t remember how or the fix but this has happened to me before and I hope this is a little reassurance you were not hacked.
