1. Public debate is limited in the USA to a narrow range. Partial agree. I also agree that corporations are in part, but not in whole, responsible for enforcing this. Another poster mentioned Noam Chomsky, but this observation dates back to Alexis 'd Tocqueville in the early 19th century. But it is certainly true. Chomsky is an excellent example. I don’t agree with much of what he has to say, but there isn’t any pundit/yapping head anywhere near as smart as Chomsky, but he gets zero mainstream media traction. Same with others like him. Gore Vidal gets a very little bit of exposure, mostly because he has an entertaining poison pen.

And when did it become my job to go around supporting your posts? I gather this is a pro bono obligation? Some threads just say what is to be said and then the idiots keeps saying it.
