Love it! My special needs son used an iPad to talk for him last year in kindergarten, and was the first non-verbal kid to be completely mainstreamed in his district. By the end of the second week of school, the other kids were demanding that THEY wanted a Robot Voice, too. He was just another kid, and it meant so much to him.
Technology is helping to fill the gaps, at least a little bit.
