Pardon my n00b status, but is that an actual scrabble phrase or did flying monkey’s just lauch out of your butt? 
Yes people cheat, but you can usually tell who they are.Others openly admit to using anagrammers. Out of the 30 opponents I play with, two fer sure cheat(and deny it) but they are rather easy to beat.
If ya want a fair game there are plenty of those to be had though.
