I would tell her that you feel obliged to tell your brother, but you wanted to give her time to do it herself.
Give her the time, and then tell him if she doesn’t.
Be prepared for no one to like you after the dust settles, though.
Start looking for friends with better ethics. They are out there.

Happens to me sometimes when I’m posting from my phone, and I hit the space bar instead of the N.
ETA: Shoulda refreshed. Ninja’ed.
On my phone I hit spacebar instead of “n” about half the time. Try as I might I can’t learn to aim a little higher. Why “n” does it more than “m” or “b” I can’t explain.
