My cat just farted. And I heard it!

Heh…

As Larry the cat grew older, he developed a flatulence problem.{/QUOTE]

Pretty sad the cat has to leave this world with such a glowing description.

I wish it were different for people, too. Sadly… I think it’s true for us as well.

Um, yeah, I saw that picture and said to myself, “No way!” However, I think it would be neat if cats did get that big!

:o I didn’t mean to sound like I disliked the cat. Larry was my buddy throughout the latter half of my childhood. I remember him fondly. I have never had a cat since that was as much fun as Larry. He would “answer” whenever I spoke to him, he loved to play fetch, and he lay at the foot of my bed every night. I don’t think he knew he was a cat. He was unique, and I loved him. When my mom decided to get rid of him, I tried to intervene, but I had moved 1500 miles away and couldn’t afford to fly him out to the west coast. By the time I found someone who would keep him till I could get back to Wisconsin, it was too late. Mom had already taken him to the humane society. I didn’t find out about it in time.
My post was about the day he ate the mackerel cat food shudder, I apologize if I sounded too harsh. I’m pretty new at posting. Guess I was trying to be a smartass.

It was so obviously fake…it was some guy holding a dog with the cat head fixed over it, or something like that…

Have any of y’all ever seen a Maine Coon cat? I’ve not, but I understand them to be rather larger than the traditional domestic feline.

That said, that is one big pussy. ::someone had to say it::

My cats don’t fart, but one of them snores. It’s cute.

Biggest cat ever: Himmy, Australia, who weighed 46 lbs 15.25 oz in 1986.

Biggest living cat: Orange Thing, Minnesota USA, weighs 40lbs 13 oz on 30 Oct 98

Longest domestic cat: Snowbie, Scotland, 3ft 4 1/2 in from nose to tip of a very long 12 inch tail. Weighs in at 21 lbs.

Thanks Kifa.

I tried looking on-line for the largest house cat, but was re-directed to buy the book with the answer instead. Really don’t have a need for that book…

So. It’s possible to have a cat that large, but the one I linked to is more than likely the victim of some Tom-Foolery.

You need the Guiness book of Records when you live with three pre-teens; what’s the biggest/fattest/ugliest/weirdest whatemacallit? Mad dash for the Guiness…on the bookshelf not on the frig shelf. In fact, I think we have at least three versions…including two different Millennium versions.
