My daughter is graduating!

Tonight is Sakura’s high school commencement.

She’s been an honors student, an active member of the theater program and the chorus, will be attending New York University in the fall, and (I hope) takes many wonderful memories with her.

We’re proud of you, sweetheart. So very, very proud of you.

Congratulations, Sakura!

Durn tootin’! Cong-rats!

If you’re still around this weekend, me and A_V can congratulate you in person.

And give you a proper sendoff. :stuck_out_tongue:

Congratulations, ** Sakura **. Have fun at college, and don’t drink and drive.

Congrats, Sakura. Here’s where life starts getting a lot more fun – and a lot more interesting. Enjoy!

Gotcher present, sweetie. Your cousin thinks it’s “crass,” but I think it’s a hoot! I hope you like it, 'cause she let me buy it anyway. You done good and we are all proud of you and love you very much.

Love, Auntie SparrowHawk

Woohoo! I’m in the NYU area about once a month, Sakura, so maybe we can get together one of these days and bitch about classes in Washington Square Park.

I was gonna suggest going to my favorite East Village bar, but I forgot that you’re not legal. D’oh. No matter, I’ll getcha a t-shirt! :stuck_out_tongue:

Congrats Sakura!

Look to this day, graduate…

I wanted to post something directly to her, but her options are set for friends only comments. Alas.

So I guess I’ll say it here, paraphrased:

Congrats Sakura!

That’s some paraphrasing, huh? Hope you have fun in college.

Congrats, Sakura!

Robin, Dave, and Aaron

Congratulations, and good luck at NYU !

Thanks, everybody.

Auntie SparrowHawk, you’ve piqued my curiosity. I can’t wait to see what it is. Just tell The Hawlette that if it’s crass I’ll be sure to like it!
Cosmo, I’m holding you to that bar t-shirt thing. No, really. I want one.

Dad - thank you and Mom for putting up with me for the past 18 years and the past 5 years especially. I love you very much and hope to make you proud over the next 4 years.

Congrats and best of luck in college! I’m sure you’ll make ol’ Dad proud as can be.
