I am a new father. My daughter was born Monday morning, Nov 11, 2002. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. She is the most wonderful baby that was ever born. Just thought you’d like to know.

A week? It only took my older daughter about an hour and a half (when she curled up on my chest, gave a big sigh, and went to sleep). That was 16 years ago on Thursday, and I wouldn’t have missed a minute of it.

I also weighed 7/11 when I was born, so you are getting a good collection on that particular datapoint. Obviously a wonderful kid! There’ll be days when she stretches you farther than you thought you could go and days when she’ll fill that stretch to overflowing. Drink up.
