My first daughter was born at 6:30 AM on 3/25/04. She weighs in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and is 20.5 inches long. Mother and child are healthy after a forceps delivery.
I haven’t ever really started an MPSIMS gloating thread, so I thought this would be one of the few times where it may be justified. I paid my 5 bucks, I’m entitled to at least one gloat every year.
She’s super cute, big puffy cheeks, and kind of looks like a rabbit. Which is funny because neither my wife’s nor my family is prone to puffy cheeks. But she totally has my messed-up ears so paternity is not an issue…
Despite what you may think of me, I offer my sincere congragulations on a happy healthy baby. I think you are certainly entitled to gloat about such a wonderful occurance in you life!

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes. Mom and I got home Friday and we have been doing the eight-on eight-off thing. We have been getting fair amounts of sleep. Baby is a little fussy but mom’s milk hasn’t come in yet, so it is to be expected.
The baby is named Veronica, but we call her Ronnie after my wife’s late father.
