My daughter's obituary is in the Maui news.

Our family is getting along pretty well now. We still talk a lot about Naomi. The yournger children sometimes speculate what she’s doing in heaven at the moment. We mailed information to the Maui News. Naomi was born on Maui. The next day I got an E-mail from classmates from someone who remembered me at my school.
It is nice to see that in a tragedy like Naomi’s death, that such good can come out in people. The Ronald McDonald house has mailed us countless notes of donations. Even to boys at my work who are mostly sociopathic have been very supportive.
Take care all

So very, very sorry for your loss, Roadwalker. :frowning:

I am heartened to see however that everyone is doing a little better. I can only imagine how difficult everything has been. My thoughts and love are with you and your dear family.

Heaven is a better place now.

Not much I can say, except I’m sending some big-time Positive Vibrations to you and your family.

Rico and I send our prayers and best wishes to you and your family.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers. With the other children you’ve been blessed with, I am sure that in your large nest you provided a wonderful six years for your daughter. This is little comfort, I’m sure, but it is something I admire.

Roadwalker, I hope that in this this most awful of times, you can choose to remember the good moments you had.

I am very sorry for your loss.

I’m sure I speak for the entire Doper community when I say our thoughts are with you and we will help if we can.

I’m glad to see you’ve been getting such support, even from unexpected places. I remember the long thread here when you updated us on how your daughter was fading fast, and all the posts in it. I hope your family can find peace.

walker, thanks for sharing that, and it’s good to see y’all are coping, and gettin’ on gettin’ on, as it were.

May your healing continue, roadwalker.

And thank you for allowing your friends at the SDMB to offer consolation.

Thanks for sharing that…prayers*

There is nothing I can say. I hope you can all help each other through the healing process. :frowning:

Roadwalker,
First I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could say something to help but I do not think the words exist.

Second, all my thoughts are with you and your family.

And Third, I eamiled the Ronold McDonalds House to find where us fellow dopers could donate to the cause. When I get a respnose I will post it if you feel that I should do so. I hope my actions are not out of line.

I am not very good with words, but I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. May peace be with you and your family.

:frowning:

Roadwalker, I lost my sister to cancer, just a week before your angel passed away. We talk about Anne all the time, laughing, sometimes crying, but keeping the memories in our hearts.

What brings me great solace is that Anne is out of her pain and in a wonderful place.

My best wishes to your family as you carry on.

Roadwalker, know also this: as many people saw and have poured their support and good thoughts and sympathy into the previous threads about Naomi’s passage out of suffering, the very nature of the net means that many, many more saw and were affected too deeply to speak at the time. I was one of them; at the time any words I could find felt utterly and hopelessly clumsy in my hands. I’m sure the same remains true for this one.

Take care, and heal well.

Your all are the greateast online friends anyone could have.

My 4 year old daughter wore one of Naomi’s nightgowns tonight. It’s a good and sad feeling both.
