My daughter, Naomi has been having pain in her arm and abdomen for a while now. We feared the worst when she went in for her bone marrow test yesterday and our fears were realized.
Naomi’s neuroblastoma has returned. The cancer is in her bone morrow and that is probably why her arm hurts as well as her back. Our doctors are as devistated as we are. There may or may not be treatments avaliable. But whatever there is, they are only for prolonging her life, not curing the cancer. We are essentially out of options.
The main reason I’m posting is not to depress anyone. I wrote earlier how a new treatment was being developed because of her and how we were going on the Disney cruise because of make-a-wish.
I have enough to be sad about without spreding the misery. Naomi is a spunky little angel who spreads joy wherever she goes. No one who meets her doesn’t like her.
Anyone who reads this: just know that about her.
I will post regularly about how she is.
My deepest sympathies…
How old is your daughter?
I’m so sorry - I can’t imagine what it’s like for you. Naomi sounds like a wonderful girl and I’m sure you’re enjoying every moment with her.
You and your family are in my thoughts.

I’ll be thinking of you and your family.
My best thoughts too.
Oh roadwalker…
On my behalf, and on the behalf of all the service and therapy dogs at SIT!STAY who work with children like your Naomi, I send you and your family, and your little angel our best wishes, thoughts and prayers…
Let us know if there’s anything we can do to help - if Naomi would like the company of a therapy dog when she visits the hospital… all you have to do is drop me a line, and I can probably find someone for you.
Take good care.
E.
Heaven help you both.

Sending warm thoughts your way.
My prayers and postive healing thoughts are coming your way, Roadwalker. I believe in miracles, and I don’t see why Naomi shouldn’t be the one to prove me right…so I am praying for a miracle just her size.
Your darling sounds like the best of us all…may she live her life with joy and love and happiness, and may that life be a long one.
Much Love,
Cheri
{{{Naomi & Roadwalker}}} I’ll keep you in my prayers, if you aren’t offended by that.

Our best thoughts and prayers from the beagle pack to you and Naomi.
((((((((Roadwalker, Naomi, and family)))))))
You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers.
You all are great. I smiled while reading these.
Our clinical nurse called a while ago and says that we could get well over a year from one of the treatments. In the time we have, perhaps a new development could happen.
So thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
By the way Naomi is 6. Here is a link to her picture.http://groups.msn.com/TheFauxFamilyDavidandPrajna/thedisneycruise.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=351
Big hugs to all of y’all.

Best of luck, and I sincerely hope something positive develops. Your daughter is beautiful, and she looks very happy in that picture.
My thoughts are with you and your family – and so are hopes that something may come about in time to save her precious life and the lives of so many others far, far too young to suffer so.
Good thoughts and prayers. I can’t think of anything else that doesn’t sound too smarmy. She sounds like a wonderful daughter.
I’m hoping with all my heart that something positive will happen for her and your family, and soon.
One of the guys I work with has a daughter about the same age with a recurrence of leukemia, so I think I understand a little. You all have my best wishes.
Best wishes and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.
