My department took me to lunch for my birthday!

It was fun. We went to this place called Baker St. Pub. I had a grilled ahi tuna sandwich. They gave me a card that said, “You Rock!” Everyone signed it. They sang Happy Birthday.

Yay me! They like me! They really, really like me!

(My birthday was on Wednesday, but half the dept. was out, so we scheduled it for today.)

(My hubby got me a pink Astros World Series cap, and a bunch of roses. And 5 cards! [One from my dog. ;)] They were hidden all over. Very sweet.)

(I’m 47. Over halfway there.)

Happy Happy (belated by 2 days) Birthday!!! Have a blast in your 47th year!!!

Wouldn’t Dolores Reborn be in her 48th year?

Don’t rush me! I was born in 1958 - that makes me 47. Or did I just get whooshed?

Happy birthday! I’m a bit confused…do you work in a place where birthdays are not normally recognized? In my department, my boss makes a big deal out of birthdays, the department goes out to lunch, which is fine, the birthday boy/girl is treated to lunch, which is very nice, but she also decorates our cubes with balloons and confetti and crap (which is a bit annoying.)

No, it’s routine to treat the birthday person. But it was my birthday. And I forgot to tell you guys…
