Missing Court dates, in almost all jurisdictions a lawyer can and does get into a lot of trouble if he misses it and does not earlier send an adjournment application or have someone appear before the Court explaining the absence. And even then missing multiple dates generally causes your right to argue to be closed.
Clearly CellGuy’s wife’s Counsel is acting under instructions to delay the matter. Speak to your lawyer and find out the full story and find out why it is happening.

As stated above, clearly stalling for some reason. I will not speculate on what the reason(s) are since they could be many. But all the more reasons to find out why.
