Well, not really. But they sure do burn! I just can’t seem to get away from this board. I try and try and try and you get the idea. Everytime I say, “Ok, this is the last thread” and something new turns up that interests me! Stop it or I’ll go insane!
I spent the last hour and a half reading just Wally posts. I was really curious after seeing all the refrences to him and did a search for him. I recomend it for all newbies. Even if you aren’t particularly witty or well spoken (ie: if you are like me) you can - no, you WILL gain from reading those threads. It will give you a sense of posting etiquette and a real feeling of what kind of community you’ve come across in SDMB. It’ll also make you cry with laughter and if you are a sensitive type it’ll make you cry with sorrow too.
So you’ve read about half of them now? The man has 3024 posts:)
It’s a real shame that there’s no “collected works of WallyM7” or anything like that for those of us who didn’t know Wally well or at all. But you’d really have to make it something like “In Which WallyM7 posts to a thread” because the posts aren’t independent of the threads, which are also a lot of fun.
Damn, and here I was hoping for the opportunity to tell my story about hemorrhaging from a broken blood vessel in my nose – how it couldn’t all escape through my nose and throat and ended up forcing its way through my tear ducts so that I was literally “bleeding from the eyes” – but I guess that is not the intention of the OP so I better not go on about it.
