With one word changed, it’s what comes to mind whenever I think of my father — which I still do multiple times a day — and I usually find it comforting, though at times the last four lines make it hard for me to keep my composure.

Lovely tribute to your dad, Baker. Wishing peace and support for you and your family, especially your mother. Tears will come when they come; my dad has been gone for over 20 years and when reading your words I got teary for your loss, and for mine. Baker, I’m also so very, very sorry you’ve lost your dad. Just from that brief description (still motorcycle riding at his age, a long marriage, a great daughter and an appreciation for reverse psychology), he did sound awesome.
