My right nipple sometimes becomes hard and very sensitive. It sometimes lasts for hours or days. I’m just wondering what might cause it. The first time I remember it happening was when I was in high school (18 years ago), and through the whole day anytime my shirt rubbed my nipple, it hurt like hell. Just wondering if anyone might know what causes this. By the way, I’m a male, in case that matters.
I had that in my teens. My doc called it a vague “growing pains” issue. It eventually went away, and I never found out why my nipples did it.
I have nothing useful to add, except to say that “My Hard Nipple” should totally be a song title or band name.
time for a pastie.
If this had been your first sentence (and thereby showing up in the mouse-over preview) the number of views on this thread would be much less.
I also had it when I was younger, and in fact I’m not certain exactly when it went away but I remember an occasion when it happen when I was seventeen.
Shig, what caused it for me (or usually anyway) was if whatever top I was wearing had any kind of hard thing over the nipple. I’m not really sure if it had to be more specific than a hard thing but one example I recall was a shirt that had some kind of design on it over the “breast” (I wasn’t fat in this example so there wasn’t actually a breast as such) which was stiched underneath - then add the natural tiny movement a shirt makes when you walk and suddenly a very sensitive painful nipple arrived. The nipple itself in particular was very red as well, stood out from the aerola peculiarly.
I was thinking something more along the lines of a children’s book.
