My Hotmail won't let me send messages (only from MY computer through Firefox)

Since Friday, I haven’t been able to send any messages from my Hotmail (now the so-called “Outlook” - I’ve had my address for 20 or more years and still use it only because of all the contacts that have it. Hotmail has been crap for ages).

Anytime I tried to reply to or send a message since around noon on Friday, I received a message that the message can’t be sent at the moment. However, when I tried to send a message from the Chrome on my phone, it worked. Today I went to an Internet cafe, one of the last, around, and it worked again! I went home, and it still didn’t work. However, I tried opening the address in Chrome and in Microsoft Edge - again on my computer. It worked again! However, it still doesn’t work in my computer if I try to send a message when the e-mail is open on Firefox, the browser I normally use.

What could be causing this, and is there any possible solution to this?

Is it possible it’s reacting to a VPN?

I don’t know Hotmail, but there must be something in the way you have Firefox set up that is incompatible with it. First make sure you have the latest version of Firefox. If that doesn’t help, try messing with any setting you have related to allowing cookies or popups etc. You could also try deleting cookies in case they have got into a state that is confusing Hotmail.

I tried that - I simply deleted all the cookies. It worked. I can now send messages from Hotmail through the Firefox browser on my computer. Thank you!
