My links aren’t showing up as blue, but they work when I click on them. Are they working at that end, too? Is it OK if they’re sort of a red-brown instead of blue?
I sound like, “Doctor, I have this brown spot on my leg…”

They are probably a different colour because you’ve already visited that page.
In most browser set-ups, a link is blue unless you’ve recently visited that page, in which case the link changes to a different colour.
No, I know about that. That’s not what I mean.
When I set up a link in a post, with UBB, when I go back and look at it in my post, after it’s posted, isn’t it supposed to be blue, just like everybody else’s links? Or does it make itself brown because traveling through the UBB system to make itself appear in my post makes it THINK it’s already been visited.
Do my links in my posts appear blue in everybody else’s computer, and brown in mine? I actually don’t care what color they are, I just want to make sure everybody isn’t rolling their eyeballs and saying, “Geez, Nott, get a clue and figure out how to link!”
Is this link here blue, at first, or brown?
That whole sentence ought to be blue, and link to pbs.org.
Okay, the preceding post has the sentence in question showing as brown before I even click on it to see if the link works. On my computer, everybody’s else’s links shows as blue before I click on them.
If you’ve ever been to the page, any links to it will be marked as read, even if you’ve never followed that particular link to the page in question before.

Okay, so the link works. And no, I’m not red/green colorblind.
I have the feeling I’m missing something really obvious. Is this about to be another “duh” moment?
Do other people’s links show up as brown on their own computer?
I love simulposts, don’t you?
Okay.
You can change the colors of the links on your browsers. Has that happened to your browser?
Thanks, but no, that’s not it, I think
Tengu answered my question. Everybody else’s links show up fine in blue.
