Hi all, it is being a week of not getting much accomplished, and I simply cannot catch up with the MMP this week. I did read the OP, which was fun and interesting rosie, but it’s another chatting week, and I am “in the zone” and my brain is simply not working up to par.
Tonight I had a visitor though, and after I snapped his picture I figured I ought to share it with you. If you are easily squicked you might not want to look, but then again, I am squicked about it, and I took the macro up close and personal photo, so…
Morning all. HRH woke up at 5:30 this morning, so I have been up and about for nearly 6 hours now!
Hi kai! ::waving:: I was watching Deadliest Catch last night on Discovery and was thinking about you and skiffman (it was an episode about the end of the King Crab season).
I can’t keep up today, so I will just hand out yays, boos, hugs, etc. as appropriate and hope the relevant people remember to collect them on their way past!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! It’s Firday! YAY! Up and caffienatin’ here. Still sniffly but feelin’ bunches better. Haze I hear ya about the Nyquil[sup]TM[/sup]. Knocks me out like Benadryl[sup]TM[/sup] does. I didn’t take anything last night but I did sleep good.
Ok, time to find more caffiene and some brekkies cause I’s hongry. Then, purtification must commence.
::sigh:: Noonie never wants to play with me anymore.

I’m working alone at the shop today (when I get there) but fortunately there are only two lunches for about 30 people and they’re both the same. And, one dessert and one main course is already finished. After that I’ll be heading off to TVLand.
oy! I hate that! most every I work with and all my friends know I have arthritis related insommnia and don’t sleep well, if at all some nights. Yet one of my friends insists on reminded me how tired I look every time I see her.
Good morning gang. As I understand it, the weather along my route is going to get quite unpleasant. That makes me and  - but I am still going. After I’ve had brekkie, I will finish packing, check the weather again, whimper, and head out.
Like I told gt over there, I want to do this as a blog like Comics Curmudgeon one day. There’s just a few things holding me back:
Reviewing the satire part of copyright law.
Find an appropriate host and get Complicated Roommate to help me get it all coded-n-stuff.
Get tickets to Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me on a day when Amy Dickinson, She Who Brings The Snark, is on the panel so I can meet her. (Not really necessary to start a new blog, I just want to meet her. I love her muchly.)
Finish this pesky graduate school thing so I can do it with a clear conscience.
Yesterday sucked. Work was the stuff minirants were made of (and minirants were made of it). Dinner was nice, Complicated Roommate and I went to Pizza Hut and he kept his girlfriend drama to a minimum while we were there. Got home about 9:30, so I hopped in the shower and got ready for bed. Except WOWCrack Roommate & Sons left their door open and wouldn’t.shut.up. I didn’t say anything to them because I have a two minute window between “overtired” and “evil” so I stormed out to the shed for a few and then went back to bed. Woke up with petechiae under my eyes–I don’t get those unless I’ve been HIGHLY stressed. I wish I could declare a “no people” weekend, but alas, I must do the work. I’m hitting the pub tonight. HARD.
I’m sorry that I did not get the frosting recipe posted. I ended up going to a play last night in a tiny theatre converted from an old fire station. It was called 7 Blowjobs. The office of a super-conservative senator was sent these 7 pictures which through the staff into a tizzy. By the time I got home, I was quite tired.
I am having serious agidda about the trip. My brother says the weather is yucky and while nothing is sticking to the ground, it makes for icky driving. My back doesn’t seem to be working right. the antibotic is messing with my innards. The last two mean I’d have to make several stops, making a 4 and a half hour trip close to 6 hours, which means hitting the area around rush hour which means another hour added on.
I am so torn
mbg, we luvs ya! Hope the new program brings some relief!
Yesterday I about went postal at work. You may or may not remember that I am working on the presentation from hell. It is hell because the entire thing (160+ slides) needed to be entirely reformatted because a) it was a mess, and b) it had four or five different fonts running through it…none of which were the “official” company font. Once the formatting was done, each slide needed to have lots and lots of numerical statistics entered. So, like I sez, yesterday I am nearly finished when a company-wide e-mail arrives announcing the “new and improved” official company font. WTF!!! WTF!!! Anybody who’s familiar wth PowerPoint knows that there’s no “easy button” for switching out fonts in a presentation. This is not happening.
Anyhoo, I can always hope to get lucky with the lottery this weekend.
Guess I should go back and push that rock up the hill again.
Have you changed the font on the Slide Master? If you change it there in that one spot it changes it throughout the presentation.
In PowerPoint click on “View” then “Master” then “Slide Master.”
Click on the boxes that you want to change, it sounds like all of them, including, title, etc. and change the font. You can also change the size, etc. as well if you would like. Then click “close master view” on the tool bar that came up and it should all be changed.
Oh and those steps are for using it in PowerPoint 2003.
Feel free to email me or PM me if you have any questions Puggy.
