I think Hal was thinking of starting a newbie mafia game. You should totally play - it’s a lot of fun. Just be warned - it does take a lot more time than some people realize.
You should skim the earlier mafia threads. This game and the one before that are somewhat hardcore reincarnations of the basic game formula, but the earlier ones stuck more closely to the standard format.

It was a very long, boring day at the office, but I did manage to get my mid-year self-assessment done. Go me. And I’ve got a ham steak thawing, but I don’t feel like having ham tonight. I want to go out. Dunno if **FCD ** is up to it, tho. We shall see.
Three more work days till sorta vacation. I’m getting excited about seeing my Orange Park buds again, if only for a short time. And I’m excited about meeting Puggy. Oh yeah, and seeing my kid again, too… 
Oh, and I had a dream last night that I was engaged to our own Rue! He and his wife were still living together, but no longer married. And he still had 2 kids, but in my dream, it was a boy and a girl. He gave me a diamond-and-opal engagement ring. I have no idea what became of my husband, but I do recall thinking “Crap, my daughter is all grown and gone, and now I’ve got 2 more little kids to deal with!!” Then I woke up. No, I wasn’t drinking last night.
rigs is a much more suitable choice to take Nat (notice how I refrained from sayin’ Gnat?) to get his shots bein’ as she’s a nurse and all LiLi.
When he’s older, I volunteer to take him out and give him all kinds of treats until he gets sick. Then I bring him back and tell ya he’s broke and needs to be fixed. I’m real good at that.
Teh sick is gettin’ on my nerves! I’m ever so glad I have homemade chicken noodle soup on hand though. Yay for big ol’ slow cookers and freezers. MMMMMM… good soup! I’m feelin’ a little better and might even consider work tomorrow. Did I mention I stayed home today? In a little while I’ll medicate up for the night and sleep, sleep, sleep. Last night I slept for ten hours. Plus, I <snerk> doped <snerk> myself up about noonish today and slept almost three hours. I sleep a lot when I have teh sick.

Back from the doctor. I have tendonitis. Basically from doing repetitive motions such as up and down motions with my hands. For the first time in my 25 years I have an ace bandage that I have to wear. I am supposed to do rest, ice, and compress it. I am to severely limit any repetitive motions such as typing, video games, cutting, scrapbooking, chopping, etc. Basically everything I do. At least my to-be read pile of books will get some attention. I am having a hard time trying to do most of my typing with my left hand. Anyway, if I’m more quiet than usual you know why.
::whine:: Don’t kids nowadays come with a remote control – and a “mute” button?
That is all. Spent nearly 3 hours on the road and 3 more in Jerusalem. I’s tired! See y’all tomorrow.
Tendonitis sucks, my doc told me all that and to also take ibuprofen (motrin is what I use). Both my wrists have it, though my right is slightly worse and acts up the most as that is my dominant hand, so I have a wrist brace I picked up at the store that I use when it starts to twinge.

MCUNE sorry about the tendonitis. Make the most of it. Remind others constantly how the doctor says you must rest your hand and eat plenty of whatever your favorite kind of ice cream is but not to scoop it yourself cause it aggravates the tendonitis. I’m all about helpful hints.
taxi maybe not tacos and chili but Minnesotans are aces with tater tot hotdish and bars. Must be all those Lutherans.

swampy, I don’t recall specifics about the dream. Except the ring, which is weird, since I don’t much care about jewelry. I remember the opal in the ring was full of color, which is supposed to indicate a high-quality stone. And I do know I was really upset about having 2 young kids again. But that’s only logical!
Two down, three to go, woo hoo! 
A little longer day than usual today because I got to work later. Now I’m hongry and will get to eat my lamb stew for supper. Also, my daughter went to Target today–they still had some Easter candy left there and it was all 50% off–so not only did I get a reduced price chocolate bunny, I got a new crock pot! I do believe there will be some meals made over this coming weekend.

I am definitely coming down with something. My throat is all swollen and I’m running a fever. Ugh.
He’s 16. 6 feet tall, curly, curly golden brown hair, gray/blue eyes, swimmer’s frame, but no muscles due to hours, nay, days spent online playing WofsoddingW. Yes, he is good looking. I asked if him if after a whole 5 hour shift he wanted to stick to the Man and he just looked at me.
sometimes I think I am a real handicap to my kids.
Oh, and it was the Barely Manenough records that did it, yes? Cruel and inhumane by any standards.

all of you with Teh Sick - feel better - and PLEASE don’t give it to me - I’m going to see the boy and his very pregnant mom this weekend (and the rest of the fambly too).
oh and YAY! I’ve got a tenant! Well, two, actually. A milquetoasty single dad and his shy high school freshman daughter. They have to vacate their current domicile because they are in an illegal apartment in the incorporated section of town. I have a legal 2-fam in the unincorp’d area. Yay me! They move in next Tuesday.

Caught up quickly…forgot to actually send you some hugs, too, rigsy. But, based on what you’ve said before, it sounds to me like it’s the right thing to do.
MCUNE, sorry about the tendinitis. I’ve had similar issues before. One of the things that helped me a lot was learning to use the mouse left-handed. I almost never use it right-handed anymore. I had a right-elbow issue a couple years back and mousing left-handed helped it heal much more quickly.
My book group read Peace Like a River. I liked it, but wasn’t floored by it. Really liked the little sister, though.
Sorry about chiefs’ FIL and FDIL’s stepdad, Bobbio. Sounds like a rough patch there in Mayberry.
So I’ve been to the eye doctor and my eyes are dilated. And still, I’m surfing. Bifocals and repeated dilation (I had to have my eyes dilated 4 or 5 times the year I had laser surgery on my retina) make it easier to deal with. My eye doctor is always fun to chat with. We talk about books we’ve read lately and catch up on vacations and family stuff. She recommended a couple of web sites that I already knew about and a couple I’d never heard of, including Words without Borders.
Guess I should really do something less eye-intensive…
