She got a message saying there’s already a registered address. That would be ME.
We’re on a broadband network (in our house, it’s all of three or four computers) and presumably share the same IP address since all the activity goes through one modem. Is there any way for her to register under her own name?
Are you trying to use the same email address? That’s one thing that won’t let you register, IIRC. Get her a yahoo or hotmail account to register with, and that should work.
Not that I know much about this, but I seem to recall seeing that in ATMB at some point in time 
If I EVER got onto this board on her computer, would that be a problem? Earlier she asked me if I had and I said no, but later it occurred to me that I might have a while ago, though it’s been months at least.

It did occur to me that I know there are other households with multiple Dopers, so this shouldn’t be as complicated a problem as I first thought.
