Did you notice that Randy’s yawn made Crabman yawn?
I was thinking Earl was going to start, too.

Hell, I almost went running when she came out. She was almost anorexic and quite frightening.
“Does karma have feet, Earl?” That reminds me of the Dana Carvey stand-up bit about his kids. His kids have been driving him nuts all day, and finally one looks at him with Big Puppy-Dog Eyes and asks, “Daddy, does God have feet?” and he melts from the cuteness, all the irritation melting away.
I wonder if this will be a turning point for the show, with Earl realizing that he may be the instrument of karma, and he doesn’t have to stand back and take everything.
Fists of Karma. Damn! That was harsh! Deserved, but harsh!
Great episode. Most of the funny lines have been mentioned.
The World’s Greatest Lover Mug (“That’s mine!”) and Earl thinking Karma might have short-changed the boss at the urinal were great.
Did anyone else think the manager’s “World’s Greatest Lover” wife was going to seduce Earl (or vice versa) when he showed up at the house, and that would be Earl’s revenge?
I like Scrubs (Zach is yummy), but The Office just never grew on me. I’m not sure why. Perhaps it’s all the shouting? The asshole boss? The staff’s neuroses? It’s just a bit too much like real life to be funny.
Catalina, who is one of my favorite characters, didn’t have much to do this ep, but she did have that one good line about her uncle who had a nice house and hot wife, but then they found out that they both had mold in the basement.
And what the HELL was that about blowing on it???
That’s the kind of quality that earns you a “World’s Best Bottom” mug in appreciation. Duh.
I also liked Randy’s anticipation and joy over the bun that was used to wipe off Earl’s forehead mayo.
Great episode, but I missed something:
How did the punch reveal the boss as an adulterer?
Both his side-item and his wife (entree?) showed up at the hospital.
It was fun to see the usually likeable Jon Favreau as a scumbag (can you really think of another role where he was not a decent guy? Even in Very Bad Things…). I really bought it.
Anyone know why Jon Favreau has put on ~100 lbs lately? It took me quite a while to recognize him.
Jon Favreau has always been a big guy. He had to lose weight for Swingers
You don’t watch “Arrested Development”, do you?
I think part of it is that he’s been doing more producing and directing than acting for the past few years, so there’s less importance attached to his appearance.
For example: Analrapist = analyst + therapist
I liked this episode too, but the funniest part for us was the end-credits pillow talk about why Bill is a nickname for William. It was especially funny because me and my husband had that exact same conversation while going to sleep the night before.
Yeah, “World’s Best Bottom” was dirty (and funny), but not nearly as dirty as an average episode of Arrested Development. “I need to save my moisture!”
“If that turtle starts begging at the table he’s an outside turtle”.
