My Name Is Earl 1/12/06

Karma, Where Art Thou?

Oh my gosh! It was a great episode, even though I thought they went for the gross out a few too many times. The Number One Bottom “mug” left me with my mouth hanging open for the rest of the episode. I thought it was much better than last week’s episode (which disappointed slightly, but my Earl watching buddy wasn’t here).

Does anyone know who played Mr. Patrick?

I believe Mr. Patrick was Jon Favreau.

Great episode though… especially “karma has no fists”. When Randy asked if karma has feet was hilarious!

Yeah it was Favreau. Man is he a chunk!

I just looked him up on IMDB and it looks like you’re right! My Earl buddy and I thank you.

“I like the helmet. It reminds me of kindergarten.”

Hahaha.

I loved when the fake bake wife came out of the tanning bed and Randy went running.

“Earl, what is that?!”

I loved Randy trying to make Crabman’s turtle yawn, and asking if he’d ever stuck his finger inside the shell.

“Good night, Billiam.”

Not my favorite Episode. Amusing but somewhat lacking.

Funniest scene was the Wife coming out of the tanning bed and Randy’s reaction.

My favorite line from tonight:

(Pawn shop owner discussing his Russian mail-order bride): “If she’s over 30, the shipping is free!”

Randy: Say “Moose and Squirrel”.

Russian Bride: Mooos and Squeer - ell.

Comedy Gold!

This made me laugh SO hard!

Earl is my new favorite show. It seems everything else they’ve given us lately is trash.

Have you watched The Office or Scrubs? Those are the other two fine sitcoms on these days, aside from Earl, and NBC has all three of them. Arrested Development was great too, but Fox finally pulled the plug after 2 1/2 seasons of critical acclaim and low ratings.

“World’s Best Bottom” == dirtiest joke in prime time in my memory

Trash is funny.

And when Randy was doing the dot-to-dot on the kiddy menu at the end. “Oh, it’s a hamburger!” Like he honestly had no idea what it was going to be.
I liked when Earl was making balloon animals.
“Do you want a snake, an eel or an earthworm?”

I love Crabman, too. I liked that he brought the turtle with him to the restaurant and asked for a piece of lettuce. “He likes arugula.”

I loved the fact that Crabman had a hamster wheel in with the turtle, and was disappointed he didn’t use it much. The turtle was adorable too, how cute!

I know it was probably purely coincidence, or good editing, but when Randy was trying to make the turtle yawn, the turtle kinda looked at the camera like “See the shit I hafta put up with?”

When Earl and Randy woke up, and Earl remarks how cold it is, did anyone else see Randy rub his nipples?

Damn. I knew I recognised him from somewhere. Damn! I just saw him in a biography of Rocky Marciano last month (my son is a boxing fan) – and he was rock-hard and gorgeous… Damn. Now I don’t feel so fat myself.

Great episode again. I loved Xena – “You’ll be my first.” and Earl’s reaction. Also when Randy asked if Crabman ever put his finger in the turtle’s shell and Crabman’s answer, “Yeah. He don’t like it.” Funny stuff.

I’ve been meaning to watch this show, hearing good things about it, and finally caught this episode. I liked it! I’ll certainly watch it more.
