My Name Is Earl- 1/4/07

I know it was an off-episode of My Name is Earl but dear GOD did that line make me laugh.

“I’ve got a guy with a bloody wiener in my car.”

Great episode!

Is this going to be the Earl thread? If so, can a mod add “Earl” to the title? Thanks!

Best episode ever! It was new, wasn’t it? I laughed my ass off. Randy making up the second line of “bad boy, bad boy, who ya gonna call?” - freakin’ hilarious! Several times! I said to my husband that they needed to show Earl with no shirt on, and maybe Joy too. And they did! Poor skinned pecker. “That’s a lot of gravel.”

And all the autographs at the end. I’m still laughing!

I loved the episode. My ex used to make me watch Cops and this was the first episode of it I actually enjoyed.

Only complaint is no Catalina.

Love the popping up of so many minor characters.

“Since when do you like rap?”
“I’m not cheating on you!”

I loved Crab mans “is there a problem officer?” after mimi blew the leaves off him. Great episode!

There’s rules ‘n’ shit? I figure if you didn’t get the quote you wouldn’t care about the thread and, therefore, why bother? I just thought the line itself was a gas. Maybe I should’ve posted in the kitty forum. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve been in shit mood since this afternoon. The huge guffaws this episode caused are just exactly what I needed.

Thanks Earl!

I’m shocked there’s not a thread yet, because that was one of my top 3 favorite episodes. Loved the whole COPS theme and the fact that they caused enough trouble to have a COPS episode centered almost entirely around them.

Favorite line-

Cop, after pulling over and releasing a drunk actor: He’ll be fine, it’s pretty much a straight shot once he gets past the school. ::school bell:: (paraphrased, of course)

Am I alone in the Earl love this week?

“I skinned my pecker!”

Some fans of the show do not get to watch it tonight and will miss the fact there is already a thread. I asked for a Mod to change the title.

Mimi was great in the episode, I wonder if we will see her again.

I loved how the cryptic “I should have listened when she was throwing the bowling ball” got answered in the same episode.

The Crabman’s saga gets ever stranger. I wonder if they will ever explain the witness protection program thing with him.

Randy was as helpless as a kitten up a tree. I loved plan “B” the tranq gun.

Fun episode, it looks like it was filmed earlier. Jamie Pressly looked not pregnant.

Jim

There IS a thread about the episode already, but the title was not terribly clear. I think your thread deserves to be the one that survives because of its clearer title, though. Bravo!

There is an Earl thread already

This one

The problem is, Earl is not in the title.

Here is the prior thread: “Please don’t take her”

Maybe a mod can do that voodoo that they do so well.

Jim

Oops, I guess I should’ve recognized that line, but I was expecting a clearer title. Mods, do with this as you please.

I merged the two threads, so if the replies seem a bit jumbled, that’s what happened.

Thanks Skipmagic.

Crabman’s backstory is bizarre. There seems to be two contradictory lines. Either he’s a local ne’erdowell thrown out of his grandmother’s for growing pot (as seen in the pilot), or he’s in the witness protection program (as seen in Y2K). They reference them both and don’t make any attempt to reconcile the two. It’s like two writers are fighting with each over it. It’s great. I hope they never resolve it.

I have seen every episode of **Earl ** and this one made me laugh more than any other.

My favorite line: “Sigh… you had me at balls.”

I’m still laughing at the drunk driving field sobriety test: “Hop on one leg while on the line and while touching your nose with your finger.”

“If you fail, I’m gonna shoot you in the face.”
