No longer unanimous. Not as awful as the last 2, but still just filling up the time slot.
Time to move on.

Hijack: he’s had one of the best face lifts I’ve ever seen. He’s in his late 60s and doesn’t look it- he looks younger than he did in Sordid Lives several years ago in fact.
I think they’ve painted themselves into a corner and are trying to figure their way out of it. Without money he can’t work on the list.
I had looked up his age before reading this post because he looked younger than I expected in that episode. He is about 67. He could pass for anywhere in his 50s.
Lawsuit against the driver?
Maybe it’s time for Karma to gift him with more money. Or more pot to sell.

I love Earl and Randy’s parents. I love how Earl came from two of the normalest, white-bread middle-class people ever. I love this show.
During the sitcom within a sitcom episodes you got to see that the Hickeys are apparently a lot happier now than they were when the boys were kids when they were fighting all the time.
I hope that they’ll bring back Joy’s parents at some point. I couldn’t stand Brett Butler on her own show (Grace Under Fire) but she totally kicked ass as Joy’s “Don’t you judge me!” gambling addict mom and needs to be seen again. I’ve also hoped they’ll bring on Darnell’s Grandma just to retcon her existence (she’s been seen in a couple of flashback episodes yet he’s there as part of the witness relocation program).
MNiE is back and hitting on all cylinders, imho. It was so good to see Mr. & Mrs. Hickey again, and an explanation for why they hadn’t been seen in a while. Floor finger sucker … good Og! I maintain, however, that Camden County is in some alternate Universe somewhere…yeah, that’s the ticket.
Beau just knocked the ball out of the park, especially at the end. Yay, MNiE!
Just saw it last night; I’d taped it and hadn’t gotten around to it before. It really was a great episode, with some very funny moments and lines:
The kangaroo being shaved in the shower. “You lick all that shaving cream off, and I’m gonna shave your pouch.”
Earl’s dad puts the duct tape back over Joy’s mouth.
The drug courier’s reaction when he sees that Earl’s pickup truck is back again.
The neighbor, high on the fumes from the pot Earl’s dad burned, comes up and hugs him.
Earl and Randy, rolling their eyes, assure their dad they’ll never end up living in a motel. That motel. In that room.
Earl reads the tourist brochure: “American Samoa: Come see why the Japanese wanted it so bad!”
Catalina to the dealer: “Two druggies and a narc are here to buy some weed.”
Earl: “I know Dad, and he doesn’t like drugs, or animals confined in small spaces, or guns being pointed at him…”
Dad, looking at his watch alarm: “That was our flight taking off. Well, our vacation is officially ruined.”
The drug dealer’s look of delight when Dad shows him the wire. “The thing I like about you, is that you never do what I think you’re gonna do!”
Dad to Earl: “I never gave up on you.”
::sniffs; wipes away a tear::
I tell ya, when this show is good, it’s good.
