My novel hit the top 50 in it's genre on Amazon today (so excited!)

Very nice! Happy to hear of your success! Did you do a BookBub?

looks at subject line and chuckles

Seriously, though, congrats.

No I didn’t – apparently there are many author tools that I’m not aware of. Thanks!

Thank you!

Well done! As an author, I know how hard it is to get published and even harder to get a book noticed. May it just get better and better!

Thanks so much!

Hey, just finished the book this morning and I gotta say I enjoyed it. It was, at least for me, a new take on the typical story. I felt a bit uncomfortable with how everybody gushed on how Mr. Breston was such a good author, because I knew who he was supposed to represent, and don’t think Mr. Martin is that at all. (I know, hate me all you want, but his books were boring to me, yours was so much more entertaining)

Great news! Congrats!

Wow, that was fast! I’m so, so glad you enjoyed it, and I’m especially pleased that you found it entertaining. I’m really aiming for this to be a fun, laid back, and entertaining read.

I would be ever so grateful if you left a review on the Amazon page.

When you praise my writing, you can put down GRRM or anyone else you like and it’s okay with me.

Thank you.

Hey Andy, I read Sailor of the Skysea from your post here quite a while ago. I’m looking forward to reading this one. As I just told another of our favored SDMB authors, you’re not going to retire on 99 cent deals but thanks for the opportunity to read your work on my limited budget!

Thanks so much, and I really hope you enjoy the new book!

If it was any Doper who left that latest review on my book’s Amazon page, thank you so much, and I’m very glad you enjoyed it! I’ve said it before: the most rewarding part of writing is the feeling that someone else enjoyed that on which I’ve spent so much time and effort working.
