I’m so sorry for your loss janis. It’s been almost 5 years since my wife passed away and I still feel the loss. Take it one day at a time. And get as much support as you can from your friends, family and rats. I know it’s hard to believe now, but time does heal.

A couple crass but necessary things are to call his life insurance company to file a claim, and Social Security to register for survivor benefits. I wish I had known about the latter when my wife died.
