My rant space for my daughter's hospitalization

Yay!!

Great news! Keep us posted.

HUZZAH!!!

Here’s hoping you have nothing more to post than “Routine, boring, the operating suites are really cold, I wish someone had warned me to bring a jacket.”.

Hurrah!!

Hopefully they can yank it laparascopically (easier recovery). Is that happening closer to home or did ou have to go back to Denver?

that is exciting. i hope all goes well and a quick and full recovery happens.

I thought the appendix came after the chapters.

That’s how messed up this whole saga has been!

I haven’t posted but I’ve been reading, I’m glad to see your daughter is doing well. I have two daughters so I can’t imagine how terrifying that is. Hopefully your son is doing better with school as well.

Surgery successful! It was laparoscopic, though it took twice as long as expected. The initial rupture apparently burst it like a party balloon!

We did go back to Denver for it, and they are releasing us to head home this morning.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Trust your daughter to be an overachiever!

Kidding, I am really happy this is almost over and will soon just be another bad memory of a very bad year.

Or a very good memory of a very good year, because she survived and is thriving.

Great news! Thanks for letting us know. I’ve been thinking about her.

glad to hear all went well. safe journey home.

I am so glad to hear that!

Best wishes and stay safe!

Have a safe trip! We’ll understand if you don’t update us again for a while.

We have made it home safely, and I am absolutely exhausted!

So glad to hear! If you can, both of you put your feet up for several days, take it easy, order pizza. Relax, rest extra, hydrate extra, enjoy being home. Don’t ask much more of yourselves than to rest and recover-you’ve earned it.

Whew.

Very glad to see that.

Such a great outcome, but, man, what a long trip to get to this point!

Excellent news! That has to be such a relief.

Great news !
