- They are Ice dancers. They perform the best figure 8s while they walk around my ankles.
- They perform Ski jumping aerials. Quite impressive. Always land on their feet.
3.Expert at curling, very tight curls, mixed doubles. They like to shout at each other during the sweeping part. - When they are speed skating through the house it’s like they are a blur.
- Luge and Monobob they perform without any fear. They jump in and sled very quickly.
Have they ever seen actual snow?
They saw it out the window last year. Watching the bird feeders.
Cats believe themselves to be natural athletes, after all.
Cats don’t consider themselves to be anything – they simply consider you to be far, far short of their perfection.
Hey! My cats do twizzles.
Brilliant, I tell you.
They need an Olympic village…
My Cats need their own private Olympic village.
With their own private slave staff to answer their every need and to scoop the cat litter.
They already have this part, yes?
I’ve decided they shouldn’t be Biathletes.
They may not make it to the finish line.
They can be loud and exasperating…
Heck, I’ve wanted to shoot them occasionally.
Is pouncing on each other an Olympic skill? Because mine are winners.
New one: Bear and Meeko walked across my headboard, jumped on the window sill, leaped over to the foot board (about 3 inches wide) walked it and jumped really high onto the top edge of my closet door.
Floor excercises? Parallel bars?
Oh, wait… Wrong Olympics.
Balance Beam is a cat sport.
Sounds like Slopestyle.
Can they do them synchronized with each other???
Pretty much. They do this thing on top of the freezer. They go around in a circle, each tapping my hand and continuing on around and around.
Tail straight up with a tiny crook in the tip. (I generally stand there a few minutes and lighty pinch the tail crooks)
Usually purring very loudly which sounds very swhoosh like, to me.
(If you suspend your disbelief in my overactive imagination, I mean, )
Do they also practice mountain climbing? Linden is forever scaling shelves, the mantle etc. (but not the kitchen counters or stove, fortunately) and when I looked it up and found another owner writing to a vet with the same problem with their own Balinese the response was basically “she’s a ‘long-haired Siamese’ so you should’ve expected her to be a champion climber.”
Omg!!
Do they climb?
They do. And they can fly. I swear.
They like extreme sports. I would try to get them bungee jumping but they would just float down.
Light weights.
I guess I could tie weights on them…
But that seems kinda homicidal. In a way.
