OK. Serious note. As a potentially “weird” person (I’m ok, I’ve agreed to medicate), I advise you to never overestimate how ‘normal’ you are. If a psycho takes a shine to you because you look like someone they once knew, saw on the internet, whatever, you are *instantly *a celebrity in their eyes and they will want to know all there is to know about you. They will also perceive any acknowledgement of their existence as encouragement to continue "learning"about you.
Don’t fuck with a stalker. You don’t understand what motivates them.
Very true. It’s just another way for the talking heads to sell you something you don’t need. (Excellent. SteveG1 suspects nothing. Carry on with the plan, then.)
I’m in the military, and when we are wearing the uniform to work, we were told to “vary routes and times” to keep us from becoming inattentive due to routine. It also purportedly makes you less of a target for a terrorist attack, but since there was a BIG ASS AIR FORCE BASE right there in town, I kind of figured my route to that base was irrelevant. A terrorist or stalker who blows up a beat-to-hell Honda Accord with a timed roadside bomb (vs. waiting until I’m stuck in line at the base for my mandatory ID check, walking up to my car, and shooting me) has too much free time.
Still, I would come to work via any of the three different gates on base, taking totally different local roads for my last two miles of approach. I also showed up at different times on different days. Occasionally I’d show up at 9:30am (pretty late!) and pull a late workday.
“Jurph, why are you in so late? Sleeping in again?”
“Ahh, no sir – just, um, varying routes and times. Gotta keep those terrorists off-balance.”
