Wayyyyyy back in the 70s, Sandy Duncan became noticed for her ads for United California Bank. She was cute, perky and adorable. I was smitten.
I was too. I first noticed her in Peter Pan on Broadway when I was about 12. That created some weird prepubescent feelings about being attracted to Peter.
I associate Sandy Duncan more with Wheat Thins.
She’s fine in the commercials but what got me crushing on her was when she was in the little seen show Other Space. Especially the episode where she speaks Russian. I thought the show was funny but it was doomed due to the fact it was on the attempted Yahoo streaming platform.
I remember her from a Disney movie back in the '70s (there may have been more than one), among other things. Saw her in a Law & Order rerun last week and checked Wikipedia; still alive at 80.
