Mrs. Homie is out of the hospital and seems to be on the mend. Her mom loaned us [yet more] money to get us by. We are making follow-up appointments, looking at counselors, etc.
She has lined up a job, but I’m going to be looking for a while. We are no longer vagabonds and are back in our own [crumbling wreck of a] home.
Thanks for all the well wishes. A long road lies ahead, but every day is a new opportunity.
