My wife is pregnant!

Babies! yay!

Congrats.

Congratulations!

A piece of advice from my husband: once she gets to about 35 weeks, eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner regularly, every day. My dear almost got murdered because he “had” to stop at Wendy’s on the way home from work to pick me up and bring me to the birthing center.

And my piece of advice: check out The Thinking Woman’s Guide to a Better Birth, which is a great rundown of the research into risks and benefits of different birthing interventions. Very valuable information, plus she named one chapter after a sketch in Monty Python’s Meaning of Life - how can you not love that?

Also, do not pay attention to the thousands of horror stories you will be told about delivery. People just like to tell them. They don’t tell you about ones that went well. And don’t question her food preferences. They will probably go haywire.
Lissla (two days overdue and waiting patiently to have her kid)

For a moment, I thought I was in the Pit and the next line of your post was going to be: “And it’s not mine!”

Grats.

Congratulations dude, way to knock her up!

I hope it all goes well for you both.

Again, thanks for all the good wishes. I have been reading them.
