Speculation about my homicidal tendencies are fine, but they should be confined to the Pit. The last five posts have been non responsive to the OP. In addition, people make reccomendations that we should (or shouldn’t) go to this club or counseling while ignoring two relevent points:
a. She may go to the club without regard to what I decide. The only thing I truly control is whether or not I go with her.
b. Counseling was not part of the question/OP and is simply not on the table right now. I’m in school about fifty hours per week and work another forty (not including study time). She works a similar amount and also goes to school full time. We have Friday’s together between about seven and midnight. That’s about all we see one another during the week. Then we see each other for about three hours on Sunday. Thus, we could go to “the club” on Friday nights, but I doubt you would find too many marriage counselors willing to work after seven on Friday’s or Sunday’s between six and nine in the evening (that’s when we go to church by the way). Besides from what I’ve read in the literature borderline personalities and sociopaths (if either of those even applies to me) seldom if ever respond to treatment especially outside of an institutional setting.
Since Roland already has a miserable relationship, if going to a sex club causes a permanent split, it would not be a bad thing.
Roland Deschain, you’ve claimed that you didn’t start this thread to talk about your personal problems, but I count at least six posts in this thread where you give way TMI about said problems. If someone wants to start a thread about what happens at swing club, go right ahead, but I’m closing this train wreck.
