Blam keeps referring to my vote on him as “lazy.” He pinged me early on with a style of avoiding a Lurker charge by posting helpful-looking posts that didn’t help. Most of his votes have made little sense. To just mention two recent ones: Jan accuses Charlie of being a Wolf so Blam votes for … Jan. Then a Mason claim is made on Charlie’s behalf so Blam votes for … Charlie. :smack: I’ll admit that these votes are so bizarrely anti-Town as to suggest Blam is not Scum, after all.
Still, Blam is one of my top two candidates right now. I’d be willing to move my vote to peekercpa.
What I wanted to ask you though is why do you keep insisting that** Giraffe** IS scum?
I think it was NAF that said he was suspicious of** Ed**, well I am too but I am not sure if it’s just a reaction to him voting for me or not and as it looks like I could be mislynched today then I have to say that I targeted** Ed** last Night, not really caring what my power would do and hopefully I would find out something about him. As it happens I didn’t find out anything.
I have been concentrating on other players today so I haven’t gone back to read up everything about** Ed** but if I was that suspicious of him that I used my night action on him, I think its only right that I vote for him toDay.
you made back to back conflicting posts. the second one was a back down from your first based on no one you knew. but it sounded like you were getting some inside info. but that wasn’t all. then you climb down my ass for voting your for such obvious insonsistency. jeebz dude crawl down all you want but a vote? that’s a scum that got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. and fart you are still on me toDay. if i am wrong and i am scum then i would think you would welcome your lynch because i am setup tomorrow. fuck one town for a scum. that’s a deal that townie takes every time.
Just don’t purport to quote passages from your PM. If you received a message that Salem was the capital of Oregon, it would be hard to relay anything about the substance of that message without using at least two of the three words “Salem,” “capital,” and “Oregon,” so don’t worry about it too much.
Here’s an example. Your PM states as follows: “Somebody whispers to you that your hat is green.” You wish to convey the substance of this PM in-thread.
Things That Are Okay To Post
Apparently my hat is green.
Somebody told me my hat was green.
I’ve got a green hat, according to a message I received last night.
Things That Are Not Okay To Post
My PM last night said: “Somebody whispers to you that your hat is green.”
Let me know if this doesn’t make sense, and as always PM me beforehand if you’re not sure whether it’s okay to post something, and I’ll make the call.
Hmm, of the lynch leaders, that only leaves Blaster Master to vote for. But I liked BlasterMaster’s case against Scuba_Ben and voting for someone I don’t find scummy is just plain weird.
Oh, this I like. The reasoning for the unvote directly contradicts the reasoning for the vote. I’m referring to the “probably scum, but if mason oh well at least we learn something” air of the first post as compared to the “not worth lynching a claimed mason” of the second one. Check the links.
That was back when I thought lynching me would provide useful information. Now I’ve reasoned through based on all the messages running around that the only information from my lynch would be that I’m accurately reporting the message I received.
The problem with the messages is this:
Jan got a message that gnarlycharlie is a Wolf.
TexCat got a Mod note that gnarlycharlie is a mason, and got gnarly’s full role which says gnarly is Town.
TF. One of the two pieces of information is false. Gnarlycharlie cannot be both Town and Wolf. Either someone got a false message, or someone is lying about their message.
That applies to all the messages, though. But Weedy corroborates TexCat’s mason claim. So lynching the clamed mason gnarly is presently a bad idea. Therefore, it is more likely that Jan either got a false message, or she is lying and I got a false message.
@gnarlycharlie: Thanks, I’ll add that to my list. I might be a doc, or I might be a vig who found a doc’s patient, no way to tell at the moment.
Only up to 1941. Still need to get to 1976. Got to stop reading the current state of the game.
I have a bad tendency to second guess myself at the last minute. I would still rather see BlaM lynched than any of the candidates above him. Sticks is looking horrible to me as well, and at the moment worse than BlaM purely based on my gut reaction to BlaM responding to that post.
True, but couldn’t the cops be sending these messages to scum (i.e., a town cop is sending a message to player X but has no idea of the alignment of player X)? I guess I’m not seeing how we could learn anything about the recipient just because they received a message.
Also, I don’t recall **Idle **or **NAF **claiming to have gotten another message toDay so it doesn’t seem like the same people are getting the messages.
Well hell, it appears I will never be able to catch up with this thread; every time I get to the end I refresh and there are 30 more posts…
I’m still OK with my vote on Scuba_Ben, for all of the reasons that existed before all of the claims started flying around. It seems more likely than not that **gnarlycharlie **and **TexCat **are both Masons, though whether or not they are both Villagers is another question.
As for all of the ‘Cop talk’; I think lots and lots of assumptions are being made. Yes we have a bunch of people who claim to have received results. If they are all telling the truth, then we might have a bunch of Cops, and this might be a ‘Dethy’ setup. But we don’t know that all of the results are not from Cops; maybe some are from other players who can send messages. And if they are all from Cops, there’s still nothing to imply what ‘flavor’ each of those Cops is at this point
I’m starting to become very frustrated with peeker, who doesn’t seem to be even pretending to help out at the moment. His three topics of conversation are “**Giraffe **is Scum”, “Mykbot is quiet”, and something about his ongoing vision problems.
On the flipside of that, **Giraffe **isn’t coming across too well either. He’s simply fixated on peeker, with a couple of side trips to join the **gnarly **and **Jan **bandwagons temporarily.
I have no idea what the case is against Dancecat.
I’d still like to know how **Texcat **knew that **gnarly **was targeted by a non-investigative role last Night (see Post 1774).
