CQ, did you read your giant obnoxious text? “Elsewhere, someone found” means something completely different than “someone killed Guiri and took her gun”.

I interpreted that as Guiri was killed and dropped her gun. Elsewhere, someone found her gun. Whether or not wolves killed Guiri is irrelevant - the wording sounds to me like someone killed Guiri, someonelse found her gun.
The rest of your obnoxiously sized and colored text indicates that the person who shot InnerStickler did so on accident. They saw a shady character on the corner and didn’t recognizer her as a cop until after she was shot.

I’ll submit that the rest of the flavor makes it appear she was killed on accident, but if guiri was killed by wolves on n1 (which I think is very likely) there’s no mechanic that makes sense as to why a villager would end up with the gun. And if a villager actually has the gun, shooting inner is just an abysmal move on their part. Inner being turbo wagoned right before a wolf dies spews inner as a villager, so it makes sense imo for the wolves to just kill off inner and much much much less sense for a villager to shoot at inner.

On POG is it general practice for the color to mean anything?

Over here we try not to read into it unless the GM specifically says that color plays a role in the game.(which does happen).

I think I can help you in what your role might be, then.

Again, my type of play is to give any info I can, as I know it, so sorry if anyone thinks this might be a bad move–but I think it might be relevant to the fact if you’re one who thinks Silver Jan might be scum, too.

My message toDay said that I was blocked from performing my Night action. So unless someone else targeted me or my action was blocked away by some other means, somehow,** I think that gives strong signs that Jan might be some kind of roleblocker.**

I strongly disagree! Surely if I had blocked you then I would have got a result. It might have said something to the affect of “you blocked** Idle**” ? I have no idea what my role is and to my knowledge I haven’t done anything in my Night actions.

Your plan here, if adopted, ‘forces’ other players to reveal information that they may not want to reveal. Until you are confirmed to be Town, I don’t think you have the right to impose your will upon anyone.

Did you forget about the whole “not knowing what your role is” thing? If **Guiri’s **gun was picked up by a Villager, that would make them a ‘backup’ role of some sort, which would mean that they had no effective ability before Guiri was killed. Therefore, they would not have known that they were going to kill Inner Stickler.

Or that the Scum might have a power where if they perform a kill they steal that person’s power?

Not necessarily. The Wolves might have decided they had more important things to do. In my opinion, if the Wolves had eaten TexCat or gnarlycharlie and their victim flipped Town Mason, they would have just hard-confirmed to us the other one. And then we’d have a start of a Confirmed cadre.

As for a backup Vig – De’endee Mafia has a possible backup-of-all-trades (or maybe confirmed by now, I stopped following it when this game started). And Sekham had backups for both the doc and the Oracle, IIRC. We have proven this game has many weird roles, never before seen on the Dope; a backup Vig is not impossible.

AOP @ LightFoot: My N2 result PM said effectively “No apparent result.” My N1 result PM did not address my N1 action at all.

There should be almost zero doubt that texcat and gnarly are actual masons. They both confirmed that they were told they found a mason partner (via gnarly targeting texcat) and say they were given eachother’s role pms via the mod. The only way they aren’t actually both masons is that they are w/w and are lying. That would explain why they weren’t killed.

There is no more important things for the wolves to do. Texcat and gnarly, as village town masons, are more valuable to the village than just about every other role. The only way dancecat/inner/peeker should have been targeted over them is if they were peeked by the wolves and they knew one of them was a powerful role. The thing is, they weren’t that powerful"

Dancecat, you are a Town Crier. Each night beginning Night One, you will disclose your true alignment to your target. You are a Villager. You win when all threats to Town Village have been eliminated.

peekercpa, you are a Lightning Rod. Each night beginning Night One, you select a target. All night actions aimed at your target will be redirected to you. You are a Villager. You win when all threats to Town Village have been eliminated.

Inner Stickler, you are a Beat Cop. Each night beginning Night One, you investigate your target to learn their alignment. You also prevent your target from carrying out, or being the victim of, any killing night actions that night. You are a Villager. You win when all threats to Town Village have been eliminated.

Only the beat cop is at all as valuable as the masons, but his flavor makes it look like he was shot by a wolf or village vig and not the target of the wolf night kill.

So there exists 3 possibilities in my opinon.

Texcat and gnarly are wolf/wolf, and the masonry is a ploy to keep them alive til end game. They weren’t either targeted for night kills because they are wolves. This is probably the most unlikely of my possibilities.

They are wolf/villager. Neither of them were killed because as long as the wolf is still alive in the masonry, the masonry is corrupt and beneficial to the wolves. The wolves will gain information from the village mason(s) and may be able to influence the village mason(s) to make moves that hurt the village.

They are both village masons, and were targeted. Except they were also targeted by villagers with pro-village powers (such as a doctor) and were sparred from death. A village power (IE roleblocker, redirector or randomizer) could have also targeted a wolf who tried targeting a village mason, so the shot was diverted or failed.

I’m going to be quite open, since I’m certain that I’ve already given away too much.

Last Night, I was made aware of my power.

I’m not going to inform you of my target last Night, because I don’t want the Scum to be aware.

On Night 1, I targeted Scuba Ben. My power obviously worked. I was informed that there was no apparent result. Obviously there was a result, I just couldn’t tell.
A roleblocking power might also not be aware of success or failure.
