That would be perfectly fitting, since it’s been a sort of WTF kind of day.
I have to agree with **brewha **that this vote makes me go :dubious:.
If both are scummy, why not vote for the one who has more votes and is more likely to be lynched?
Crap. You’re right.
Still, I’m not eliminating the possibility that scum targeted within the scum pool to find their powers. Yeah, it’d be risky - but the potential benefit would be huge.
posting as I catch up
I was told explicitly. A Role PM with my name in it was delivered to me within a quote tag in a PM.
Although I think Quality should play a part. Quantity is not key .
I was specifically told that my action had no “apparent” result.
Plausible.
Maybe not entirely likely. But I can see this beiong how a redirector might work. Anyone targeting that person is directed toward the redirector’s target.
Please clarify. Did you receive PM’s on N0 and/or N1 mentioning the lack of apparent results, or just no PM’s at all?
I’d ask a similar question of other players. I’m trying to understand the game mechanics.
This townie didn’t much want to know, either. Give Sasaki a smack for vigging me next time you see him, OK? Stupid “process of elimination” vigs. God it sucked being a regular townie in that game, I don’t think I’ve ever been so frustrated.
That game was such a mess.
A Bridge Zhou Far. Was going to be glorious dual-mafia victoly, too, unless one of our teams flinched. One of my exceeedingly rare mafia successes at the .org, and it wasn’t even official. cry
Like the man said:
Lynch: ATPG
Only appropriate response.
And yet I still prefer having you around in a game than not. Go figure.
he claimed a Day power?
No, he claimed that he targeted Mahaloth N1 - on day two.
I’ll add you to my list of players who I consider too scared to face me without metagaming. ![]()
By day, or overall?
By day I can kinda understand since it basically forces the scums to post. Overall is crap.
Maybe I’ll do that, it’s just that policy-based poisonings aren’t going to be very effective given the time I have remaining as an alive player.
Sorry, Bridge Zhou Far makes it 3 abandoned games as scum.
Cultured Drizzt Fan (Swords and D20’s III)
Iskander 3.1 (Downgradez)
Subotan (Bridge Zhou Far)
I think there’s a fourth one, too.
Given I’m townie roughly 80% of the time, that’s a horrible move.
That *logic *makes the no-brain comment quite apt. /joke
Pizza got two results - Episki and NAF
So your targeting of pizza could have resulted in pizza getting the NAF result.
Someone else targeting pizza could have resulted in him getting you as scum.
Either result may or may not be true.
I would assume that because Pizza appears to be a non scum killer anyone targeting pizza lats night had some idea of what their role did
I assume Episki had a good idea of what their role did, given that he tageted Silver jan, and silver jan said Gnarly was a wolf.
A scum episki would know if that were false (as they would know what alignment gnarly and silverjan were) so a scum episki could target Pizza night two knowing a known killer would get a false read on a town.
Or a town episki see the result of night one and figures he has a role that will tell their target the alignment of a random player, knowing it would be useful to the killer to be able to differentiate between town and scum.
or teh night one or night two results were interfered with, anyone claim to have targeted Episki N1 or 2?
Thus I can conclude, EPIski is either town or scum :smack:
I think Brewha should be left to die, the vote to tie a lynch against a later prooved scum is good enough for me. (Ok so I have low standards)
Still wondering if we should go back and resolve the Gnarly vs SilverJan with a lunch there, that might help us figure out what Episkis power is as well.
Still thinking Sanagmans apparent perfect knowledge is a lynchworthy event.
By Day is what I was thinking, though I had forgotten that it is harder to get Daily post counts on this board than on the other boards we play on.
I like lunch.
Be careful with this one. I voted SilverJan to try and resolve this and now I’m poisoned!
Ok the serious response: brewha is scummier than sangaman by far IMO. Sangaman is plausibly scummy, but I wouldn’t be all that surprised if he flips town. Brewha, I would be. The post I originally voted on, this bizarre and desperate seeming attack on ATPG, the late vote for Inner, they all say scum to me. If it weren’t for his having been poisoned I would have voted him off the bat today. And, there are plenty of votes on sangaman. I’m not really convinced that brewha should be lynched, under the circumstances, but at the moment my opinion seems hardly likely to matter, regardless.
The response much more in the spirit of the post itself: because the scenario I mentioned in that post occurred to me and I was in a flippant sort of mood at the time.
Off to work, back in 12-13 hours, there will be sleep and another shift so don’t expect much more from me until night phase.
