It is plausible to have some kind of role that switches allegiances, but not one that works the way you said, which didn’t make sense.
How could you have found out your role anyway?
I want to squash this, because I know people sometimes get confused. If anyone is kinda doubtful about what Idle’s power is, that’s fine, but he is scum, and needs to be voted off.
And yes I should have said ‘as you are scum’ not ‘if you are scum’.

As I said above (with my real role), I got it just last Night (as one of the “other messages” (I.E. The same kind that told me Dancecat was Town))…so I assume it meant someone else targeted me and I (randomly) got the result.
I win with Town, though, if I successfully make you all believe I’m a traitor, so that’s–in essence–another Townsperson.
But, believe me, feel free to vote me off anyway. So since you all will, and thus, have nothing to lose, why not give me the benefit of the doubt?
OR, if you want to consider this: I posted my PM (forgetting about the consequences), so will probably be modkilled anyway. Maybe you all should vote for someone ELSE, then, rather then waste a vote on someone who is dying anyway.

along with what Idle says my role is. I find it implausible that Town has four killers (Vig, Poisoner, Mason kill being the other three), so this seems a safe target to turn on itself.

Out of curiosity, can I ask why? I am not asking for the Day to end now. I am asking for town to have the ability to end the Day when the Day has run its course to prevent Idle from drowning the Day the way that, for example Ed has, in the past.
Ed will probably do the same in the future, considering he’s a third party.

special ed - He’s special, I don’t think he is scum anymore. But he is being weird.
Again, you understand that asking for a hammer when the lynch is everyone voting for Idle except for Idle isn’t the same as ending the Day early right? It could end the Day early, but it essentially ends whenever town wants. You aren’t ready to finish talking, don’t vote Idle until 1 minute before the end of Day.
That should be balanced against the Masons not being able to kill until they had found each other. So the town would probably not have that pro town killing role until later in the game. It was surprisingly fortunate that they found each other so soon in the game, which is why I found their claim a bit suspect at the beginning.
It could be that the game balance was to have vig poisoner + one more early in the game, with the balance being a high chance of loosing a vig/poisioner early on to be repalced with the masons finding each other.
I was also wondering about the scum and if it they had a designated killer or if it was an general kill. I have seen games go both ways here, sometimes it is a collective kill, sometimes they have to designate. I am sure idle would tell us the truth.
So far we have 5 killing roles identified
Guri (T) - vig he had a gun
ATPG (T) - poisoner
Texcat/GnarlyCharlie (T) - mason kill after they find each other
Scum - Colective kill according to the rules “Wolves get a team nightkill every night”
Brewha (S) - vig one kill every night from n1 onwards.
I was trying to read something into the no colour kills vs the shooting.
N1 guri probably shot Malahoth ( I would think it unlikly that scum targeted scum on N1) plus two no colour kills on town (scum collective and Brewha?)
N2 someone picked up Guris gun and shot innerstickler, the wording indicates possible misidentification - n2 the mason kills would have become active
Dance cat had multiple people with him in a no colour kill - collective scum kill?
peekerCPA killed with no colour (Brewha?)
N3 Astral rejection shot - could be the masons with Guris gun
Texcat - killed no colour - Brewha or the scum collective kill
gnarlycharlie - shot? so now two shooters - or is it a mod error on the colour and it was the other one of the scum kills?
obviously I left out the poisoning.
Also no colour kill = no cuase of death identified in the reveal.
