As far as I can tell, **Drain **has been cleared only by Idle, and nobody has been able to explain how it happened. I’m starting to think now that she is likely Scum.
And if Drain is Scum, then her visit to Scathach would have been enough to prevent him from saving J.D., as she is almost certainly a ‘Reflector’. Which means that there would be no reason for a Scum **LightFoot **to also target Scathach as a Roleblocker.
Of course, LightFoot could still be Scum with some different ability, but I’m not sure what it would be. A role claim from LightFoot might be nice at this point; a target claim would most certainly be a really good idea.
Until there’s a good explanation for Idle’s mysterious message:
Fair point - my lean on lighterfeet was because Drain came out straight with a mea culpa and thought he screwed up. Obviously could be lying - but why would a scum DB come out with that - I had not revealed my watching results at that point (although I may be stunningly transparent)
We know septimus is an attractor (i targeted someone one night and ended up watching Septimus)
We don’t know his alignment
If scum figured you were doctor - Septimus could have targeted you to draw your protection away from town.
Did you ever get any indication on success of your targeting or did you just have to see who reported feeling safe? Without breaking the “no quoting PM” rule obviously.
Sticking with lighterfeeet for now unless he has some really convincing explanation for visiting Scathatch

I noticed that your lists didn’t include your targets either. My former selves it seems couldn’t figure it out what I do and didn’t share I saw no reason to add extra non information.
If everyone knows what everyone did/didn’t do every night it is more likely to help Scum? (ie if it’s all laid out what everyone did there are places to hide?)
I have no clue what I do so I let the mod rand my decision last Night
On a lighter note I can share that LighterFeet felt a warm glow last Night (first anything I’ve seen/felt)
Clearly Idle somehow got results on me, but it doesn’t follow that since he said he was blocked, he must have been lying about my results. It’s more likely (and I know his results are right, but the rest of you don’t) seeing as he was lying Scum, that he was lying about being blocked. He’s Scum. He lies. He was making a gambit to try to get Town cred, and it almost worked–I think both NAF and I would have gone for it, seeing as he gave us info on our roles that he didn’t have to give.
Any look at my vote record and transparency should show that I’m Town. I voted late on BlaM, dogged Episkey for DAYS before he finally went down, and back when good cases were necessary (remember that? Seems like ages ago) I made several. Some were wrong, but many were right.
My mistake last Night was due to my forgetting I had two targets until later. I was rushing to try to get it in so I didn’t get randed and just screwed it up completely.
There is NO pro-Town reason for a role blocker to have targeted Scathach last Night. I’m pretty sure two people didn’t screw that up so royally. You know one of us is Scum…is it the one who owned up to what was done immediately, or the one who kept it secret until the watcher came out?

I’m going to do a WoW on Suburban Plankton when I get to a computer. This isn’t the first time he’s tried to smudge me, he was the first to notice the first major slip in this game, and he’s been playing close to the vest as to his role, but is likely not the doctor.
In fact, I think a mass target claim might be useful at this point in the game. If a majority agrees, I’d be comfortable with special ed setting the order. What do you all think? It’s not like we’re hiding a doc anymore.
Well since the semi claimed Doc just recently shared any of theirs I see my reticence as no more wolfy.

Well, Ben said he targeted me. Ben was an accurate reporter. And Ed has done nothing but help Town all game. In the end, the only ones who know for sure are Ed and I. Ed likely won’t make it through the Night, so that issue will be resolved soon enough. But his record speaks volumes to corroborate what I’ve reported.
Anyone else think LighterFeet should spill all targets now?
My train of thought on your alignment went like this:
**Idle **was in fact lying Scum, but nearly everything he reported about the first three Nights seems to be true.
The one thing that Idle told us that is inexplicable is your Role (specifically, how the information came to him).
The most reasonable explanation for how Idle came to know your Role is that he investigated you (he would have known after Night 1 that he was a Detective).
The only reason he would lie about his investigation of you is that he couldn’t tell us the truth about his findings.
So your Role must be different than what Idle stated.
Since you are most clearly a Reflector, the lie must have been that you are Town.
I will, however, grant you that there may have been other ways in which Idle, or any of the other Scum, could have learned your Role. And your points about your voting record are well made.
I have a problem with your last paragraph, though.
First of all, I didn’t smudge you here; I called you Scum and voted to lynch you. And I don’t recall smudging you before either; in fact, I had you penciled in as ‘probably town based on Idle’s (probably true) claim’, until I looked a bit closer at it.
And as for me “playing it close to the vest”: I’m not sure which thread you’re reading. I claimed my role on Day 4, gave all of my targets and results, and have continued to do so in subsequent Days. I am most certainly *not *the Doctor, because I am the Town Tracker.
As I typed the last paragraph, it occurred to me that I don’t think I actually revealed my target for Night 5, because I was hoping he’d volunteer the information first. He hasn’t.
Silver Jan is confirmed Town and likely a roleblocker, right? Lilflower and Scathach are both reporting being blocked. If Jan is our Town roleblocker, that means that LighterFeet is the Scum blocker.
hey guys I’m really sorry my head hasn’t been in the game and been completely in other games I was playing, I just haven’t remembered to check in on this game often enough and when I do I feel like I’m behind the loop.
