In Total Ulla and bufftabby’s Ragnarok game, two of the Scum effectively claimed Mason and as there were no Masons and it was a closed set-up, were never counterclaimed. (I didn’t question them, either, but then I was a survivor in the game and didn’t really care who won.) Because there was no Mason counterclaim, the rest of the players took them as what they said they were, and looked to them for leadership the rest of the game (as seems to be a tendency with Masons).
Therefore, I examine all claims with great skepticism, and unless a mod confirmation happens – or a claimed investigator flips, or a mason flips – I don’t treat anyone living as confirmed.

where the newbies come from do you go around questioning ancestry and intelligence kind of things as a course or normal game play? just kind of curious because over here that is the norm. of course, most of us just shrug it off and go forward but there is a curious subsection that wants to analyze it.

The odd thing is, in that game, my antagonizing of Meeko wasn’t any different from the games where we weren’t Scum together.
