As of 2100 hours today, N4S had 996 posts since she joined in April. That means that her fourth post today will be # 1000!
I’ve been trying to think of inspirational words to write (as I did for hypergirl’s 1000th post), but not much comes to mind except this:
Hon, you’re one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. And you don’t act wounded unless the situation calls for words of wisdom from people who’ve been there and done that and wrote the book.
You’ve flamed and been flamed, laughed, cried, brought brownies and flirt incessantly (though not with me . . . yet:)). Disagreements here and there (and sometimes everywhere) have served to make you stronger. Where others would have folded up their lawnchairs and said “to hell with it, I don’t have time for this”, something in you kept your butt glued to what you believed in (right or wrong, depending on who you are:)).
Plus you’re hot, which always helps;)
Come one, come all, to worship at the porcelain statue of . . . wait, wrong euphemism. Nobody’s about to throw up on N4S:)
Come and celebrate with N4S as she vies for post 1000!
Thank you, Punha. This is so sweet! I honestly had no idea I was hitting 1000 (I don’t think I’m even there with this post).
Your kind words awe me. It’s inconcievable to think I may have had any effect on this Board, when there are people who post more, have better things to say, and are funnier and wittier to boot. But it’s nice to be appreciated.
Just to wax sentimental for a moment: this Board has come to mean a lot to me in the past year. I’ve made some wonderful friends, found people who made me feel not so alone, and realized just how real the people behind the usernames can be. I’ve learned to fight more fairly, my wit has improved exponentially (sp?), and I feel as though I have a place to come to when I need comfort, advice, or a laugh.
Thanks to each and every one of you who have helped make this Board what it is today. You’ve given me an outlet that means more to me than I could possibly put into words.
Stop saying that! I’m not hot! I have an image as a nerdy intellectual to uphold here!
I love the younger people (hey, I’m over thirty–if you’re under 25, you’re one of the “younger people”) on this board, especially one such as yourself, who carries herself with such grace, dignity, and style.
Keep it up, please! You’re great, and we love you here.

You guys are seriously damaging my long-held, ever-ready low self-esteem. I still don’t think I’m hot, just young and horny when intoxicated. Well, in Trip’s case. In punha’s case, I think he was blinded by the kiss with Andygirl and lost control of his senses.
You guys are hot too! We’re all hot!
Anyway, Falc and I are buddies and Eutychus is the sweetest man on this Board, and a cutie to boot, but I have yet to meet John Corrado. Apparently he lives in the DC area, though, so here’s hoping. So I figure the Elite Clique nomination is just a few dopefests away.
