That’s right! I am a new, proud owner of a dwarf hamster. He looks pretty much like this little guy. (that’s not actually mine, but the color scheme is accurate.)
Although this guy IS a hamster, I am pretty sure that he (actually, it might be a girl) is not responsible for any lost or changed posts here at the SDMB.
So, I am still in need of a name for this little guy. I haven’t really got any ideas whatsoever, so I am leaving it up to you, the members of the SDMB.

We’ve had a few dwarf hamsters–and they are real speed demons on their treadmill. So I’d suggest:
Sprint
Squirt
Speedo (especially if his coloring makes him look like he’s wearing one)
Snoozer, Howdy, Penelope, Panda, Oxnard, Bijou, or Boss.
Dexter, Maxwell, Stan, Sandy, Jingle, or Elderham would also work.
Frunobulax (you can call her/him/it “fruney”
Ham Sandwich.
If it’s a girl, name it Esther, after the Queen of Hamsters (scroll down for a pic).
