Based on those photos, I’d say Maus and Mus. Yeah, i know they’re hamsters, but those pix look a lot like mice.
Dwarf hamsters?!
Appropriate names would be Grinder and Chomper - as you’ll soon find out! Those things are the most evil you can pack into two inches of cute rodent. Trust me on that. We had a colony at the zoo and you had to pick 'em up in a cup to change the cage. ALL of 'em. I’ve yet to meet one that didn’t bite whenever the opportunity (or finger!! ) presented itself.
Good luck!
How about “Hors” & “d’oeuvre”.
The cute pix make me think of a whole platter full of 'em with toothpicks poking outta their backs. Not that they’d be especially tasty, just that they’re sorta bite-sized.
Can you tell this will be a party weekend & I haven’t had breakfast yet???
I had a friend who named his hamsters after a notorious intersection near where he lived. Everyone thought it was hilarious.
Well, in that case, maybe they should be called Leopoldand Loeb.
Peepi and Ultra-Peepi!
Zim and Gir
How did you pick them up? The best way I found to pick up my meeses is to click my fingernails above them, and when they look up to see what it is, they stretch up, and thats when I reach in with the other hand and scoop em up. My gerbils never bit me once in the 5 years they were alive. They were good mouses, hardly ever needed beatings.
I’ve never been bitten by a gerb and we used to have many.
Hamsters, on the other hand, are fairly evil. I thought the dwarf ones were supposed to be less bitey, though.
I can confirm that said hamsters are indeed ‘bitey’. Though they have yet to attack me!
I can also confirm that there names are -
Pinky and The Brain
Thanks Leaffan!
I shall celebrate with vodka! Though I may have already started…
I second the vote for Fezzick and Inigo!!!
Works for me too.
Well tough! There names are Pinky and the Brain.
