So, my birthday was on Tuesday and my roommates threw me a surprise party. It was great, and for my gift they got me a new lizard. My Western Fence Lizard (named Captain Tuttle) died a few months ago, so they took the terrarium out of the closet, cleaned it out (her boyfriend even picked out the old dead crickets) and bought some fake plants and a green anole. It looks likethis but without the dewlap. Its been 3 days and I still don’t have a name for it.

So, what’s a good name for a color-changing, wall-walking reptile?

We decided that it “ninja flips” when it leaps around on and off the glass and such. Plus her excellent camouflage and stealth skills are awe-inspiring. I haven’t seen her flip out and kill anyone yet, but there are missing crickets. Any good ninja-esque names for her? (its a she)

According to this Wikipedia article “Kunoichi” is a ninja slang term for woman. This article has a list of names of other “kuniochi” used in popular culture so you may find one there.

Or how about “Rumiko” which is the name of Stephen Hayes wife (Stephen Hayes is a black belt in Togakure Ninjitsu).
